1. Re: Encore CS4 Edit Quality Presets Problem
Harm Millaard Nov 7, 2008 4:03 AM (in response to juskocf)Just great that it returns to default. Wouldn't want it to just make up some setting. -
2. Re: Encore CS4 Edit Quality Presets Problem
juskocf Nov 7, 2008 5:14 AM (in response to juskocf)But I haven't finished the project yet, just go back to see whether I have made the right export settings. Everything returns to default and I have to choose again. Then when you come back again to confirm the settings, again, back to default. -

4. Re: Encore CS4 Edit Quality Presets Problem
juskocf Nov 7, 2008 6:36 AM (in response to juskocf)Hi, jbowden, I didn't save the preset. I think only if I am going to make a custom preset do I have to save it. But I just want to use a preset with everything default, I don't think I have to save it. Besides, I only used it once, so I just hit OK after choosing a preset. After hitting ok, the "Export Settings" windows will close. But when you go back to the "Export Settings" windows, the preset just chosen will return to another choice, not the one you chose before.
Pardon my poor English. I hope you understand what I said.

5. Re: Encore CS4 Edit Quality Presets Problem
Joe Bowden Nov 7, 2008 9:49 AM (in response to juskocf)jusko, I believe the default preset that appears is fixed, and not "user-settable" in the way you are trying to do it.
If you alter the default, then save it as a preset so you can choose it when you want to use it again. -
6. Re: Encore CS4 Edit Quality Presets Problem
(Davevg) Nov 26, 2008 4:08 AM (in response to juskocf)Encore always displays Blu-ray presets by default in Export Settings window, irrespective of project settings. It will use "Automatic" preset if you choose a preset from export settings window. Always choose presets from "File->Transcode Settings->DVD Transcoding->Quality Preset" or "Window->Properties->DVD Transcode". If you want to alter any of factory presets then use Export Settings option and don't forget to save your presets. -
