Hello,
I've developed Winhelp systems for several years and am just
now learning WebHelp. From the research I've done, it appears we
can develop and maintain the help content in house, without having
to re-deploy the revised help to our users whenever an update is
made. This a great feature, if true. The question I have, though,
is this: How is support for a WebHelp system built in to a software
program?
To further explain:
We design medical software that is installed on the client's
local machine. If we build a WebHelp system, what will our
development team need to do to provide our clients with a way to
launch and view the WebHelp system from within the software (and
still allow us to make continuous edits to the content in-house
without them knowing)?
Thanks. WebHelp seems like a great solution for our help
needs.
