Has anyone attempted or is it even posible to catch data from PDF form via CF and insert it into database?

Not exactly, but the other way round.
I've successfully filled PDF-form-fields from CF using the ActivePDF Toolkit.

Considering the products price, you might want to evaluate it thouroughly for 15 days or try to find a Java-API that suits your needs.

I just did! I made a form using Acrobat I put a submit button at the bottom (there are lots and lots of fields) In the button I tell what page to go to. Like Action.cfm and on that page I have a cfquery.. INSERT INTO and the data goes right in. Or you can just view the variables like FirstName as Form.FirstName works GREAT! By the way anyone know how to populate the PDF Form with the data?
