Missing Navigation Bar

When editing the presentation theme, I can select the Navigation Bar check box but it does not appear in the preview or when published to the Connect Pro server. Any ideas on why this might be happening.

I am running Presenter 7.0.2 on a Windows XP machine.

Do you mean "sidebar" when you said "navigation bar"?

Can you resize your content to see if it changes the view?

Yep, I meant the sidebar. I need the sidebar to appear by default. If I resize everything expands but the sidebar doesn't show up until I click the sidebar button.
