Hi

My template locates the Print, Back and Next buttons right next to the Contents, Index, and Search tabs; is there a way to align those buttons to the right margin of the template?

Also, is there a way to get the Search engine to be more refined in that a User could search within a specific topic?

Thanx for any help you may provide.

I did take a quick look at this but as far as I can see, it is a left to right order.

The only thing I could think of trying is to create a very wide image for a button that does nothing. That would push other buttons across. What it looks like would depend on your skin and graphic skills. If you try it, it would be interesting to learn whether it worked.

While our solution is not exactly what you want, it's a variation on Peter's suggestion.

We added a blank.gif file (58 x 16) between the default buttons and our custom buttons, which effectively:

  • Creates a decent space between each type.
  • Pushes the start of the custom buttons about a quarter-inch to the right of the TOC/Topic separator.

These shots are from RH X5, but the same applies to all later versions.

Of course, we have six custom buttons and anticipate adding a few more in the near future, so we might end up with a de facto right alignment, anyway!

Good luck,

Leon
