I converted a Robohelp 5 project to a Robohelp 8. Since then I have noticed that RH center aligns the content in table cells even though vertical alignment to the top of the cell is selected. This seems to occur more often if the table in DHTML drop-down text. Is there a way to force vertical alignment to the top in the cells without having to recreate the table?

A similar question was posted in the forum over a year ago for an earlier version of RH but was never answered. Here is the link: http://forums.adobe.com/message/93790#93790.

There is a bug in RH8. The alignment in your output will be OK.

  1. In RH, enable the Table toolbar.
  2. Select the table.
  3. Click the "top" alignment toolbar button.

I tried using the command on the table toolbar, hard coding "valign=top" in the html, and the vertical align options under the Cells tab under the Table Properties menu but RH ignores my selections and centers the image and/or text in the cell.
