Buko. May 23, 2009 9:29 AM (in response to purple_am)I'm still using my Epson 2200 (no longer being made) If I were replacing my printer I would probably get a 3800 or something similar. I would stay with Epson.

purple_am May 24, 2009 5:49 AM (in response to Buko.)Thanks Buko.
The Epson 3800 is nice. Beautifully designed. The price though is quite steep.
I was also looking at the HP B9180. May be this can do the work.

Agreed. HP software and Mac support are the absolute pits—and have been for decades.

Buzzehm May 24, 2009 4:12 PM (in response to purple_am)I use the hp photosmart B9180 and its been great. Haven't yet had to contact support so who knows, maybe I'm in for it. But it's worked beautifully since end of 07.

Is it that bad.
Well whatever printer i will be getting i will need to order from South Africa, Dubai or some other place. Support wont follow me to where i am and i hope that i don't get any major problem after ordering the printer.

Used to use Epson r2200 for years and still using it.
I am not going to swtich to any printer other than Epson.
