1. Re: Updated Adobe CMM Release
tho_wi May 26, 2009 1:35 PM (in response to (Ken_Kameda))Hi Ken,
a question about integration of Adobe CMM on Mac (OSX10.5.7).
As to the Windows ICM (until XP) I know that apllications that do not provide switchable CMM however can use Adobe CMM if ADBE is set as tag for the preferred CMM in the (target) icc profile (and it worked).
Is it the same on Mac? So when I switch the preferred CMM in the icc profile (I'm switching it with Chromix "ColorThink") will applications without switchable CMM then adress Adobe CMM as engine? Or is it just working when the applications provide a dedicated option to switch the CMM?
And - if it works by changing the preferred CMM in the profile - does this apply to monitor profiles as well? So if I set my monitor profile to "Adobe", will applications without switchable CMM translate the monitor colour via Adobe CMM?
Thanks a lot!Kind Regards.

How do we go about Licensing the Adobe CMM for distribution with our software products?
