Hi,

We are using RoboHelp X5. The problems that we are encountering are as follows:

  • A file deleted from the source folder is still appearing in the Webhelp.

  • Inspite of modifying a file in the source folder, it appears along with the older version in the Webhelp.

Please suggest some solution to these.

Are you talking about the generated output, the published output or both?

The bit I don't follow is how you can amend a topic and then see both the old and the new file in the output. You cannot have two files with the same name in the same folder. Maybe this is on a Unix server and there is a case difference? In Unix, mytopic.htm is not the same as Mytopic.htm.

Hi there

Just a tidbit if I may...

If you are using the Publish functionality, please note that Publishing will never, ever, Ever, EVER delete files. Its only function in the whole world is to copy content from one location to another.

If you need to delete files from the publishing destination, they must be manually deleted.

Cheers... Rick
