I just upgraded to Version 2, I want to uninstall version 1 without effecting V.2, Ive looked everywhere for the uninstaller, to no avail.
You simply Trash it, or if you want to keep it without it being accidentally launched, choose the app's icon, then Control-click to compress it.
Also, be sure you are running v 2.3, not 2.0.

There isn't an uninstaller for Mac. So, just drag the application to the trash.

Neither of those methods will competely remove lightroom 1.0 from your mac, there is a super little app that uninstalls everything related to a program, library files, caches, etc etc
Its called appzapper. It traces through all the relevant files and removes them all.
I dont know whether lightoom 2 uses the same caches, etc etc
Just my observation

Then maybe you should NOT be recommending this. Good way to lose Presets, Galleries and other related items. Just do as the earlier repliers suggest.

Did you ever figure out how to remove LR from your Mac?
If so, what did you end up doing?
