LiveCycle on WebSphere - Installation Validation

Hi

I am a newbie to Adobe LiveCycle. I have installed LiveCycle on Win2003/WebSphere6.1.0.23 machine. We have Forms and Output Solution component. I deployed everything using the Configuration Manager.

How can I validate my LiveCycle Server?

Is there any ready sample application that I can install in my App Server and validate the LiveCycle installation? I tried the building a project from samples.jar and run the samples pertaining to forms and output. I am not getting any output (pdf file). Not sure of how to run it and make it work.

Has some one got it working on WebSphere?

Thanks in Advance for the help.

In the LiveCycle deploy folder there are two applications that are meant for Installation and Verification. For Forms the file is called "adobe-forms-ivs-jboss.ear" and for Output the file is called "adobe-output-ivs-jboss.ear". They do not get deployed by default and your s may be named differently to reflect the app server that you use. Simply deploy these files to your app server and then you will have a Installation Verification Sample (IVS). To access the application use  the following URLs:

http://servername:port/FormsIVS

and

http://servername:port/OutputIVS

Once the app loads it is pretty self evident on what to do.

Many Thanks.!

Is the installation/deployment doc for WebSphere available somewhere. There are lot of steps to go through during installing in WebSphere... I deployed it somehow. but the OutputIVS, while generating test pdf, thoughs up RenderExcetion Error.. Any ideas.
