These questions refer to basic Robohelp 9 (NOT to Robohelp Server)

1 Does the help run on Windows 2008 Server and Windows Vista?

2 Does the help run on an application developed using .net 3.5?

One other thing, Robert: don't create multiple posts for the same issue (RoboHelp Server Licences[sic]). Rick usually sternly admonishes those guilty of this infraction, but I think I distracted him.

Sorry, I meant Robohelp 8, the latest version.

What I am trying to guage is whether my company need to purchase Robohelp Server, or just standard Robohelp.

The help files will be developed on a Windows XP machine. However they will need to work on Windows 2008 Server and Windows Vista. They will also need to work with an application developed using .net 3.5.

Thanks for your help.

Can you please confirm that if I purchase Robohelp Server, the help files generated will defintely work (and are supported on) Windows 2008 Server and a .net 3.5 application.

I know the Robohelp Server section says that Vista and .net are supported, but it does not confirm the version of .net and does not mention Windows 2008 Server.

I repeat: "No RoboHelp Server required to accomplish your goals."

The RoboHelp Server is used to host WebHelp Pro output and provide feedback on user navigations, and other esoteric features as described on Adobe's site. WebHelp can be viewed on any server (MS or Linux), with no other dedicated server required.

Good luck,

Leon

Must apologise for misreading your grammar.

My understanding of the meaning of your sentence was.

'No, Robohelp Server is required to accomplish your goals"!

So I get the point, I only need basic Robohelp.

Thanks.
