I have taken over our software's help system from 2 previous employees - neither of which trained anyone - and understand most of RoboHelp. We have had a drop-down that will take users directly to the selected topic or section of the help file - however, we have rebuilt the table of contents and the index and since then it has become unusable. I am unable to figure out (by using Adobe's help file) how to correct this. The browsing sequences and breadcrumbs are correct, but I cannot figure out where to repair the options in the drop-down. I have included an image to help explain exactly what area I am talking about.
Hi there
That area lists all the different Browse Sequences. What do you see when you click it? Does it not drop down? If so, you need to click Tools > Browse Sequence Editor and see what is listed there.
The fact you are seeing the sequence is indicative that the HHActiveX.DLL is present and registered.

Can you add the screenshot by using the camera toolbar icon instead. Otherwise your image remains queued until a moderator sees it

Yes that toolbar icon is easy to miss and the "attach files" field is not clear. I know that this is being debated with Adobe so maybe this will be changed. The forums in their current format are fairly new.
As for your issue, you say you have changed the TOC of the help file. I'd start by going to your browse sequencies (Tools > Browse Sequence Editor menu item in RHX5) and check that the entries in each of your browse sequencies mirrors the topic names.
You may also want to check the CHM on another PC and it could also be the version of the HHACTIVEX.DLL file. This is required for browse sequencies and if you have an older version you may need to install and register this file. It can be found on your RoboHelp install CD or just google the file name and download a copy.

Thank you both for your help. That did work, but I also found that I actually needed to rebuild the existing browse sequence which I am going to think is because of the rebuild.
