I am currently using Robohelp X5.

Is it possible to use Conditional Build Tags on entries in the Table of Contents and Index? If so how do you apply them and what are the limitations within Robohelp?

I think it was 6 or 7 that introduced what you want.

Hi Andrew

Note that if you apply a Conditional Build Tag (CBT) to a topic and it is excluded from the output, any TOC entry and Index term pointing to the topic are also adjusted as a result.

Perhaps if you are able to articulate exactly what it is you are hoping to achieve, we might offer some alternatives. That is, assuming you don't wish to (or simply can't) upgrade your RoboHelp version.

Cheers... Rick
