Audio recording

I have some problems with audio recording. Although I can record crystal clear audiofiles with audacity, I have a lot of noise when recording with captivate 4 on windows xp. On some computers, audiorecording works, on some it doesn't and I#Ve no idea, on what it depend.

Has anybody an idea?

Hi there

Are you using Captivate 4? If so, try downloading and installing the update as it purportedly resolves some issues surrounding audio and audio quality.

I tried to install the patch, that adobe released. It came up with the message "Installation not possible. Captivate 4.4 ist not installed". I work with 4.0.0 built 1598.
