purple_am Jun 18, 2009 1:55 PM (in response to Bob Bringhurst - Adobe)hey Bob
Was able to sort the flv things out.
I have a contents page that use hyperlinks to link to the appropriate pages. And this part works great.
But am having some issues after adding the rollovers to the hyperlinks.
What i did was
Selected my text and added hyperlinks. (Links to a page number) -- up to here things still work.
Then I selected my text frame and converted it to button and added the rollover states.
After adding the rollover states, i see the rollover effect but the hyperlinks no longer work.
What am i doing wrong.

3. Re: flv's and rollovers
Petteri_Paananen Jun 19, 2009 3:11 AM (in response to purple_am)You can´t do both, add hyperlink to single word or phrase and turn whole textframe to button. If you do, you will loose hyperlinks as you have noticed.
Of course you could define one action for that textframe-button, but if you need to have several different hyperlinks inside it, it doesn´t work for you.
We talked here recently about one method which could be helpfull.
1. Edit>Cut off a word you want to change to hyperlink.
2. Paste it to it´s own textframe. Make sure that frame is fitted to content pretty tightly.
3. Convert it to button, make rollover state, add an action (go to page?)
4. Select it with selection tool, cut it off again.
5. Put your cursor back to the point where word/phrase originally was.
6. Edit>Paste
7. Finalize position with baseline shift etc. if needed
Now you have created a separate button from the text and pasted that button into text as inline graphics. It goes along with the text as it would do as a part of text. And rollover state works fine. End user can´t see the difference.
