Director shows the outline of my stage - shifted down from the top of the monitor about an inch. When I try to preview/play the movie with no menus, it won't play from location 0, 0...

SeanWilson Jun 23, 2009 3:57 PM (in response to onefiftymph)Does it behave as expected when published as a projector? If so, I suspect this is something you'll have to learn to live with. You could file a bug with Adobe.

liveoak Jun 24, 2009 9:56 PM (in response to onefiftymph)Not sure about it shifting down an inch, but I remember a few years back trying to do a full screen projector on a 1024 x 768 iBook. I could get it working full screen on Windows, using Auto-hide for the menu bar. But on the Mac, even after selecting full screen, the projectortor always seemed to shift down about 50 pixels (not sure the exact number) to "allow" room for the Apple menu at the top.
If you are trying to get it running full screen, could you try to set up a dual monitor setup? You could then test the problem by dragging the movie to the display without the menu bar...
