1. Re: Separate CS4 sequences in same project to Encore
Bill Hunt Jun 25, 2009 3:03 PM (in response to janaiott)There was a recent discussion on doing this. Joe Bowden and Jeff Bellune offered tips on doing it, and going from my memory, one just does the selection of the desired Sequences to bring in all of the ones that are needed.
I have to admit that I do not use DL that much, so I did not make full notes of the discussion - might have missed something along the way, just reading. As the title of that article did not mention the "separate Sequences," I'll try to search for it. Should I find it, I'll post a link to it.
Good luck,
Hunt
[Edit] I think that this is the discussion.

3. Re: Separate CS4 sequences in same project to Encore
Neil Wilkes Jun 29, 2009 8:01 AM (in response to janaiott)Just go to Dynamic Link off the "File" drop-down, and import the relevant sequences.
It will definitely help no end if you create names for the Premiere sequences too, rather than "Sequence 01" "Sequence 02" etc which is going to cause huge problems for you if are importing from different Premiere Projects, where every neq sequence is "sequence 01" by default unless you name it.
The dynamic link function is one of the coolest things there is about the Adobe suites. It is excellent.

janaiott Aug 24, 2011 8:09 AM (in response to Neil Wilkes)I have since used this feature a lot. In the "file", dynamic link, import adobe premiere sequence you just have to make sure you have the right location and premiere project clicked on the left screen, then on the right screen your available sequences will show up. You may have to expand some of your folders if you have placed your sequence in a subfolder.
