1. Re: PPro CS4 acting slow after tape roll-off
Eddie Lotter Jun 26, 2009 2:31 PM (in response to Eric Addison)I haven't tested it, but I'm curious if it still happens when you disconnect the camera after the export.

2. Re: PPro CS4 acting slow after tape roll-off
Eric Addison Jun 26, 2009 3:00 PM (in response to Eddie Lotter)I think it may have something to do with the ImporterProcessServer.exe...I set up a 2 hour timeline to roll off to tape. After the first 20 min clip rolled off, it stopped sending out signal to tape. There was a message saying the importer process server had crashed.
PPro acted sluggish, and when I shut it down and restarted...still sluggish until I turned off the DSR-11 deck...then it seemed fine. I'm going to try rolling off another clip now...

Eric Addison Jun 26, 2009 11:29 PM (in response to Eric Addison)Good call, Eddie - that seems to fix it...not sure what's going on though. If I turn the deck off, then back on again, it seems to reset and work well...I'll test more tomorrow, but that's seems to work - how'd you know?

4. Re: PPro CS4 acting slow after tape roll-off
Eddie Lotter Jun 27, 2009 7:55 AM (in response to Eric Addison)I seem to recall someone posting about this in the past, but I couldn't find anything specific with a quick search.
There's just an interesting comment by Michael Mishler on the capture page about doing the same thing to resolve a blank capture screen problem.
Cheers
