Harm Millaard Jul 2, 2009 8:58 AM (in response to hotphoto)When posting a question like this (and thanks Jeff for making it readable) it is often beneficial to illustrate your problem with one or more screenshots, so people understand your problem. What do you mean by SNOW? What settings did you use in the levels effect?
I recently used the levels effect and was glad it showed SNOW. Maybe because it was a shot of the Lauberhorn downhill during a ski vacation.

Bill Hunt Jul 2, 2009 10:38 AM (in response to hotphoto)Probably the easiest thing to do would be to add a Dip-to-Black Transition to the end of the Clip.
You can also do as you're thinking and use the Razor, remove the Levels Effect from the new Clip at the end, and then add a Cross-Dissolve between the two Clips to "ease" the loss of the Levels Effect. You can Keyframe the various setting in Levels (just not the Effect all inclusive), but there are a lot of them. I'd use one of the two methods about. You might want to experiment with the settings and see if you can get Keyframes that solve your issues.
Good luck,

Bill Hunt Jul 2, 2009 10:48 AM (in response to hotphoto)Good luck, and please report back with what worked best for you. If need be, there could be other "solutions," that would suit your exact footage and the effect that you are looking for.
