import word-doc results to errordialogwindow ciceroUIWndFrame RoboHTML.exe

Dear RoboHELP HTML community,

after the steps

- start of roboHelp HTML

- import word document (1.5 MB)

- new projekt

I got the dialogwindow with the title: "cicerUIWndFrame RoboHTML.exe error in application" (translated from german)

The command in 0x3b399f37 reference to storage in "0x3b399f37". READ was not able to execute.

I use windows XP, office 2003 and roboHelp 8.

I tried out the suggestion, made in the link.

A new installation on another computer with full administrator rights showed

the same error massage.

You don't say if you checked the second PC for the same problem or if you turned off speech recognition, or whatever it was.

Some days ago, I upgraded RoboHelp5 to RoboHelp8.

RoboHelp Word looks ok.

I also can start RoboHelp Html, the Word-import command leads to the error.

I read the readMes and found the hint, to try the installation on another

computer. An IT-colleague with all admin-rights did that. Unfortunately

we got the same error.

Turning off speech recognition is not easy possible, because off

rights, company policies.....

I love it when IT say that they will not do something even when it is stopping someone doing their job.

The cause of the problem has been identified and there is a solution. If your company will not adapt its policies, then you can try contacting Adobe to see if they have any solution. I doubt it as someone would have posted that. Then you will have to submit a bug report and wait for a patch. The problem has been around for a while so don't hold your breath.
