Bill Hunt Jul 6, 2009 8:35 AM (in response to lifeguardlloyd)Lloyd,
Just thinking here, as I do not recall actually doing it (will test, but others will quickly correct me, if I'm wrong). You should be able to Lasso all of the Clips, Audio & Video, after your Black Video, and choose Group (might be Link in some versions), then just Ctrl-click on the Black Video to get the big ] and drag. Everything else should follow.
Off to test,

2. Re: Ripple delete question
Bill Hunt Jul 6, 2009 8:39 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)Works a treat. On my system with PrPro 2.0, the Clip>Group is also Ctrl-G. If you remapped that key combo, it will be different for you, and may have changed in CS4.
Good luck,
Hunt

3. Re: Ripple delete question - Figured out
lifeguardlloyd Jul 7, 2009 5:30 AM (in response to Bill Hunt)Sync lock must be activated on all tracks. Duh! It was in the Class Room in a Book - just missed it. I had inadvertently disengaged this for some unknown reason. Anyway, thanks for the input.

4. Re: Ripple delete question - Figured out
Bill Hunt Jul 7, 2009 6:38 AM (in response to lifeguardlloyd)I hate when little "switches" get thrown, or need to be thrown and I do not notice it. I'm always locking something that I do not intend to. Fortunately, PrPro usually does a pretty good job of changing some aspect of the display of say a Track, or a Clip to let you know. Still, some of these can be hard to spot, unless one looks right at it.
Glad that you got it sorted,
Hunt
[Edit] when all is set properly, did my method work for you?
