Digital editions authorisation error

I've downloaded Adobe Digital Editions on my PC, but I can't authorise my computer. I've bypassed the firewall, but nothing happened. The following error appears recurrently:E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept/Activate

What can I do? Help!!!

Hi guys,

This error message means that your clock and/or timezones are set incorrectly.  Your clock has to be set correctly (within a reasonable time limit) for the Adobe servers to accept the request taking into account your timezone.

Set your clock to the right time and ensure that your locale setting (if you are in Japan, make sure your computer thinks you are in Japan) is correct.  You should then be able to activate.
