I'm a newer user of RoboHelp 7.  I just discovered that when I search for a word using the Search function, Search includes the text in my footers.  Is there any way to prevent that?

Thanks!

I don't think you can exclude the headers and footers but you can put the words in your Stop list. That will of course also exclude those words in the body.

See the link in Useful Links and create a feature request. (Click the Up to Discusssions link).

Hi there

One possible workaround I could fathom would involve arranging the footer text as you want, then using a screen capture tool to snag an image of it. Then use the image for the footer.

If you took that approach the terms would still be found in the topics and you would still see the footers as intended. But search wouldn't find those terms.

Cheers... Rick
