dec9 Aug 11, 2009 11:25 AM (in response to suzzie12)You can try to update your video card drivers (if not already) at this site. You will notice that the card you have is not in the main stream driver support anymore.
Update directx. Does not effect opengl but may make a difference with the new card drivers.

John Joslin Aug 11, 2009 11:28 AM (in response to suzzie12)Before you buy a new card you could try to update the drivers but I think you really need a newer card.

nihilmatters Aug 13, 2009 2:46 PM (in response to John Joslin)I was just wondering about the link you posted, "List of tested graphics display cards for Photoshop CS4" (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405711.html#win1).
I just purchased a new graphics card online this morning in hopes of solving a similar problem as the thread author posted. The card I purchased was not on your link of tested cards. Do you know if the following card would handle Photoshop CS4?
Galaxy GeForce 8400 GS Video Card - 512MB GDDR2, PCI Express 1.0 x16, Support for 1GB Memory, (Dual Link) DVI. VGA, HDTV, Low Profile

Thanks for any info!

I don't know...but I dread thinking what the machines will make us do for $45 in the near future.
