    Problem with Displaying Compile-time errors

    JAXIMFLASH Level 1

My computer crashed and I had to reinstall everything. My version of the flex plugin for Eclipse seems to be working fine so far EXCEPT for one thing.

In the problems panel/window, there is no "Path", so I do not know what class file contains the error.  Plus, I cannot double click on the error to go to the class and line number where the error is located. When I am coding in a class and I make an intentional (or unintentional) syntax error (see below), that error is not highlighted as it had before. It used to display a little red circle with an "X" near the line of code with the error AND it would display details of this error in the problems window. It does not do this anymore.

I have reintsalled both Eclipse and the Flex Plugin.

Does anyone know if there is a setting that I need to  change in order to regain this very useful feature.

example of intentional  error that produces no error warnings:

var param:FakeClass= new FakeClass(); //where "FakeClass" is a class type that does not exist
