Merge audio from one slide to another

I've created my movie in 13 slides. I have recorded audio on slide 6 (which is way longer than the slide ). I want this audio clip to extend to slide 7 & 8. Is this possible? Or is there a better way to go about recording on multiple slides?

My company currently uses Camtasia, but I'm trying to convince them that Captivate is a lot easier....

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Angaria and welcome to our community

One thing you can try is to click Audio > Edit timing... and simply adjust the slider positions to adjust the split points for slides 6, 7 and 8.

Also, I totally agree that Captivate is way easier to use than Camtasia Studio. (I have both applications available to use and compare) Each application has its own strenghs and weaknesses, so I can easily see authors wanting or needing both.

Cheers... Rick
