Encore chapter marker which moves with clip in PPro

Feature Request: Encore chapter marker which moves with clip in PPro and is recognized in Encore.

I have 9 sequences with each containing 4 Encore chapter markers. As expected in the real world, the end users continually want edits in PPro CS4 to the sequences. If I razor out a piece of a clip in the PPro sequence, the Encore chapter markers stay fixed to the time ruler and do not move with the clip. As a result, one has to manually move each Encore chapter marker to re-align with the proper location on a clip. This is time consuming and makes no sense.

What is needed are Encore chapter clip markers. Just as you would move the current-time indicator to the frame where you want an Encore chapter point and then right click (Windows) in the time ruler and choose the type of marker, a new context menu item " Encore chapter clip marker" would be available which would place an Encore chapter marker on the clip in the currently selected video track. With this, one could edit the sequence and know the Encore chapter point is still at the same frame of the clip. Of course, Encore needs to be modified to recognize the Encore chapter clip marker.

Agreed, agreed, agreed.  Why would this not be possible?

I've created a 2 hour movie with chapter markers for Encore, and if I make one tiny adjustment anywhere in the time line, I have to reset each and every chapter marker manually?!!!

          This is insane.

A chapter marker that sticks with the assigned frame of video is indeed a very useful feature.  If the frame moves, the marker moves.  If the clip is copied and pasted elsewhere in the same or another sequence, the chapter marker rides along with it.  If the sequence is nested, that chapter marker shows up as a chapter marker tied to that very same frame in the new sequence.

This doesn't have to replace the current marker functionality, but would be an invaluable addition to such.
