Text on photos during photo event???

    rkmjcha Community Member

I will have my first event and the person wants photos printed on site with Happy Halloween 2009 written on each photo.  I need to know the best and the quickest way to get this done for approximately 60 guests.  Thank you for your feedback.  I am fairly new to using cs4 so your feed back is truly appreciated!!  I am thinking I can create an action to have this done, but I know some people will be wearing black, some white, etc. so I have to be sure the wording can be seen.  Plus, I need to know what to be prepared for when printing on site.

      Thanks a mil...

In those cases use a white stroke or outter glow and a black drop shadow. If you don't want a drop shadow, you could combine the strokes by using the outter glow and stroke assigning one black and the other white. By reducing the amount of feathering the glow normally produces it can give a solid stroke. This technique was shown resently on photoshop TV.

Once you find a style you like you can then create an action if you need to do this in batches.

As far as printing goes, the text is part of the picture and will print with it.

Note that it will be permanent if you flatten the image – if you want to preserve the original work on a copy.

Thank you for your replies, I appreciate it.  I was actually looking to see what type of workflow I could do during the event to make it go smoothly.  I believe they are going to just have me print the photos without any text and just put them in a paper frame, which will make it much easier!
