Ebooks onto Sony PRS-505?

Absolute newby here. I've downloaded two books to Digital Editions but I can't figure out how to get them onto my PRS-505. What have I done wrong or ommitted to do? FYI, I've downloaded the software update on the Sony site.

terminate adobe, connect your reader to you computer (USB), re-start adobe and open the library.

on the left hand side you should find the hierarchies (e.g. like windows explorer). there should be "reader" too.

on the right hand side you'll find the books / titles.

just drag and drop to "reader".

as soon as you disconnect the reader from your laptop, you'll find the book in the directory of the reader.

that's how it works on mine.
