Scrolling and pasting bugz

The scroll-wheel on my Mighty Mouse (Mac) behaves erratically;

when I move up, it moves down first and when I halt or slow down

it goes up or jitters up and down.

The keystroke to paste (Cmd-V) works only now and then.

I'm sure I have copied it correctly, but the paste is ignored.

What OS, browser and version are you using?

Mac OS X 10.5.8 and a Apple BlueTooth Mighty Mouse.

Is your browser Safari? There has been a recent bug fix for this behavior - it started happening with the latest Safari update.

I'm using Safari 4.0.3 on Leopard 10.5.8.
The bug is still there, at least it bugs me...
