Hi,

I would like to know if there is any option to apply conditional tags dynamically to the output. This is the scenario. There is an application, which might have various components. These components will be integrated based on the customer requirement. For instance, Customer A might need Compoent B. The development team provides the WebHelp for the application and the various components. Now based on the customer requirement, is there an option by which the Webhelp of Component B can be merged with the Application's Webhelp? Please note that the merging or applying conditional tag has to be done on the output, and not before generating the WebHelp.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Malini

Hi Malini and welcome to the RH community.

This sort of request does pop up from time to time. It is best handled by your application licensing. There is no way to dynamically apply a build tag so you have to create the output as individual modules and get the install routine to check the user's license and install the relevant modules.

Note that if you use merged help, this won't matter as long as the master is always installed. The slave projects that are not installed will not appear in the TOC.
