Hi guys,
We're at the end of a project where I have individual *.swf
files export from Flash CS3 in AS3,
Each of these when launched is a letter, populates it'self
according to external XML content and then prints the relevant
versions of itself.
Each *.swf is then passed through Zinc 3.0 to create it into
a standalone launchable *.exe file.
up until yesteday afternoon everything was working fine -
when you opened any version (on any machine under and user for -
fla test, swf directly or exe) they all opened and immediately
launched the std windows print dialog box.
Yesterday afternoon the licence for Zinc 3.0 was re-installed
on one machine (Zinc is only on one machine) under user profile A.
Since then NONE of the files (in flash, already published swf, new
swfs, new / old exe.s) will launch the print dialog box EXCEPT if
opened under the profile of the user which had Zinc re-installed.
Neither me nor our IT staff have the slightest idea why this
- though we are assuming it's connected to the Zinc authorisation
we can't understand how.
They do not even launch teh dialogue box (which they used to)
when copied to and run from a laptop which has not been on the
network (they used to)
Can anyone shed any insight? please? :)
regards, Rich
