"3-2-1" countdown at start of recording

Hi everyone,

this sounds like a stupid question, but here goes:

When I start a screen capture with audio comments a "countdown" appears at the beginning: 3-2-1 with a microphone icon. I wait until the countdown has disappeard and then I start my demo. However, I always see the last part of the countdown ("1") on the slide. This is very annoying. I have resorted to "covering it up" by drawing a grey box.

Any tips as to what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi there

Best practice is to record your audio separately as an action all its own. However, if you want to work this way you may as well factor in the fact that your first slide will always inevitably be a throwaway slide.

Cheers... Rick
