Hi! I'm using RH HTML 7.0.
I'm creating bilingual online help (English and French) and am wondering how I can change the text of the navigation buttons (i.e. Contents, Search, etc.) in the skins. All I was able to do is add text next to the buttons but not change the names of the buttons themselves.
Are the buttons images that need to be edited?
Thanks for your help!
Hi there
As you see, the skin allows a combination of text and images for the buttons. Indeed many of the skins have the text that is part of the button image. In that case you need to use an image editor or button creator utility to modify the text that is part of the button image.

That's what I was afraid of... I checked the LNG tab in the Project Settings and there wasn't anything for button text. Oh well.
Thank you!

Have I missed something? You want the Contents button to have different text, correct? So why doesn't changing the text in the skin editor work for you?

I have tried changing the text in the skin editor (select the item to modify, click edit, enter new name); it only adds text next to the button, as shown below.
Is there another way to do it?
Thanks

Understand now, you are using images, not just text. In that case, as Rick said, you will have to create your own images. Using the same images, it wouldn't take much to take a section and copy it over the existing text and then create the French text. SnagIt or RoboScreenCapture should do it.

Thank you for double-checking! I will use SnagIt.
Thanks again.
