.NET/AJAX Chipmunk

I'm using the latest version of captivate to create a demo of a new web app that we developed in .NET, using some AJAX widgets. When amouse click in the web app creates a pop-up window -- a dialog box -- (so, on the AJAX response when I click the button to access that window) the audio portion of the Captivate recording speeds up and I sound like a chipmunk. Any ideas?

We got another copy of Captivate for a different PC -- and it doesn't exhibit the same problem. Meanwhile, on the original PC, I tried all your suggestions without success. It's a Dell Optiplex (an older mini desktop) trying to be a high-end workstation, so it's not a big surprise that there's a problem. Anyway, thanks for your helpful answers!

Shouldn't happen - but you know that already. Did you try it on another
machine? In a different browser? Are you trying to control the Captivate
movie at all with the results of any of your AJAX stuff?

Thanks for the response! I don't have access to Captivate on any other PCs, but I can view the published Flash file on other PCs, and it has the same issue. As far as the Ajax web app, it doesn't try to control or integrate with Captivate. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

If it's happening on all machines, then I guess there is some sort of
corruption.

Try copy/pasting your Captivate slides into a new file.
If that files, try deleting the offending content and rerecoring.
If that still fails, try a brand new file.

Sorry - I've nothing more satisfying to suggest.

Weird. Sounds like a very odd corruption. At least you managed to find a
workaround.
