E. Michael Brandt Oct 23, 2009 7:54 PM (in response to rlinsurf1)For a link to be clickable, it has to be in the foreground. So however you decide to do this, the link must be on top.
One way I can think of would be to put the text behind the translucent image, but attach the link to that translucent image itself rather than to the text. Or if needed, to an imagemap (a hotspot) on the image. (None of this would be particulary Accessible, but you'll have to decide if that is important to you or not.)
