*LONG* wait on <cfform> with AJAX controls

I have a simple .cfm with <cfform> that has a few <cfdiv> tags bound to <cfinput> tags.  The "bind" arguments of the <cfdiv> tags the "URL" type (not CFC or Javascript).  The <cfdiv> areas are usually populated correctly but seemingly at random IE 7 displays a "waiting for the page to load" message (with animated progress bar) in the status area of the browser (even though the HTML appears to be completely rendered).  I can't discern a pattern.  The <cfinput> tags that are bound by the <cfdiv> tags don't trigger AJAX calls when IE is in this "wait" state.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I recommend getting an HTTP sniffer and having a look at whether any of the AJAX stuff is erroring in the background.

Thanks, Adam.  I should've thought of using Fiddler.  I'll try it.
