The folks in my shop have noticed an often aggravating slowness in version 7 when making audio edits and saving, among other things.  It's not bad on a local drive, but on our network drives it seems interminable.  This was not the case with 6.  Anybody else experience this?

We don't support using files across network drives, as it causes corruption and missing audio files. I would edit locally and make backups to network storage. Does that help?

Yep - very much so. We'll follow that advice.

Thanks!
