When I go to Publish my Powerpoint (2007, Windows XP Prof. 32-bit) slide show into Presenter (7.0.2), and run the Presenter edition, I'm finding my text formatting is changed. Font size, alignment, spacing, etc. isn't being carried through.
Any ideas?
(I updated to 7.0.2, but that did not solve the problem.)
Need help at helper's earliest convenience, thanks.

Is Presenter 7.5 or 7.0.5 (which ever it is) up yet?
I thought Matt Rock was going to post a message when it was ready for
download....

I am I keep checking the site, nothing yet.
Can you try "Help -> Update" on your Presenter menu and tell me if it's there yet?

You can get Presenter 7.0.5 by clicking on "Help -> Update" in your Presenter menu inside PowerPoint.
The website hasn't been updated yet, but the patch will also be available here sometime today.

What font are you using? Does it happen with all fonts, or just the default font? Are you publishing to your own server, or an Adobe hosted server?

I am having this issue also and I just updated my presenter two days ago. Below is a screenshot of what is happening. this font is arial.

Here is another example of an issue. Clip art images are missing entirely from animations. There should be a clip art image of a hand holding up two fingers (for step 2) to the right of image of a computer screen. This bug has been an issue for at least 2 months - making me nuts.
FYI: I'm on a mac running parallels (Windows XP) with Powerpoint 2007 running presenter 7.0.5

What font are you using, can you try a different one to see if the problem resolves? Are you publishing locally, or to Connect?

I am using the arial font.
I am publishing to our company's connect server.
i will try another font - but, arial is our brand standard, so I'd like it to actually work.

Yes, I am just trying to narrow it down. What version of Connect is your company using? Can you email me your PPTX file so I can try?

Can you email me with your address? I just republished with the rockwell font on that slide with no change at all - the font remained the same and was still bad. I will send you the ppt prresentation.
I'm going to feel stupid for asking this but how do I find out what version of connect we're using? It is web-based - i would assume we're on the same one everyone else is.

I am having the same problem with the quiz questions. I set them all to be left justified but when I publish the slides they are all centered.
Which looks very bad. Any updates on why this is happinging?

Can you try using PPT instead of PPTX, and see if that helps?

I have been using Breeze/Presenter for about 4-5 years and began experiencing the formatting problems from the beginning. There is no solution. It has never been properly addressed by Adobe, they always avoided my inquiries. It is particulary acute with "tables" generated in Worrd or Powerpoint. The only solution I have, is to keep changing your formats/fonts and republish until you get the look you want (commonly referred to as "crowbarring" the program. This could also be called " What you see is never quite exactly what you get".
Sit back, have a cup of hot chocolate, think creatively, and try again is my approach.
