Does anyone have or know of any information on how to implement drag and drop WITHIN a canvas container. I just want to allow users to reposition items within the same canvas , nothing like a list-datagrid transfer. Most tutorials dont involve single container drag-and-drop , usually it's container-container.

Each container that extends Sprite, has a method
As you can see the second param is a rect where the current object can be draged. So simply startDrag(false, new Rectagle(parentCanvas.x, parentCanvas.y, parentCanvas.width, parentCanvas.height));
