Hi,
I just put together a new laptop, and insatlled all the normal programs/drivers - flash player, adobe reader, etc.
I installed Flash Player 10 from your website, and received the confirmation flash screen "Congratulations you now have the latest..."
I installed Adobe Captivate 4 - Trial Version from your website without any problems downloading.
This is not my first attempt at installing/un-installing/re-installing both Captivate 4 and Flash Player 10 on this computer - I'm on my fourth attempt at reinstalling both programs.
I am running Vista Ultimate x86.
This computer meets all system requirements by Adobe Captivate 4.
Is this a problem with Captivate, Flash Player, or (doubtful) my computer?
Thanks!

Hello,
There is a problem: Captivate 4 doesn't work with Flash player 10.1, as you can read on several Tweets and also in this forum. You should go back to the previous Flash Player.

Hi there
In addition to what Lilybiri offered, you may find the link below to be helpful in obtaining and installing an older version of the player.
Cheers... Rick

Lilybiri,
This is odd, I am certain that I read an addendum on the Flash 10 download page last week, it explained that the incompatibility problem was fixed.
That message is no longer present today.
Other than that, some security changes were also made to Flash 10 that may impact your work. See this link: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/fplayer10_security_changes_print.html#head32
To check your current version go here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
I am using version 10.0.32.18. I have run many compatibility tests and haven't found problems with this version of Flash.
If version 10 is causing problems for you, uninstall by going here: http://kb.adobe.com/go/tn_14157
Some better instructions I found:
