An inappropriate entry appears in my WebHelp url, when the Help is displayed in the browser, in this case FF.
.../!SSL!/WebHelp/Txxxxx.htm#Welcome.htm
The Txxxxx.htm is the inappropriate part that we cannot have displayed to our users.
The Web tech who posts my projects to our server told me that he has to put that entry in the url to make the TOC panel appear in the Help.
Txxxxx was the original name of the Help project, which I later changed by going to File -> Rename Project...
My questions:
Does that .htm file need to appear in the url?
If so, what do I need to do to make that .htm file the same as the new name of the Help project?
I am using RoboHelp 7 on a PC running XP.
thanks for any help.

Hi there
What you are seeing is defined as the WebHelp Start Page. You change this in the first field of the WebHelp Single Source Layout properties. I normally advise to use index.htm, but as you see, it may really be named whatever you like.

Hi Rick,
I changed it to my Welcome topic, as you see here:
Should that do it?
thanks,

Hi again
Sorry, no image was visible. Additionally, I removed your personal info to avoid attracting spam.
This is a common mistake that folks make. The WebHelp start page is significantly different than the default topic. They have different purposes. If you named it Welcome.htm and you already have a topic named Welcome.htm, likely RoboHelp will rename your true Welcome.htm topic to some variant.
Cheers... Rick

I'm sorry to beat this to death, but now I'm confused.
Does the start page need to be an actual .htm file? If I make it
index.htm, do I have to have a real index.htm file in my project? Because
right now, I don't.
thanks,

Hello again
The start page isn't actually a file that is part of your project. Instead, it is created by RoboHelp at the time you create your WebHelp or FlashHelp. It has a unique purpose.
Does that make it a bit clearer?

So, I can just type the 'index.htm' entry into the 'Select Output Folder
and Start Page' and RoboHelp will create the file and do its magic?
(I understand that I need the whole location of the out put folder, which
in my case is ...!SSL!/WebHelp/index.htm)
thanks for your patience,
r
