1. Re: Resolving errors connecting to Acrobat.com for Review or Forms workflows
beckcd Dec 1, 2009 4:29 PM (in response to bob.treitman)We installed the patch on several machines as instructed and a few reviews started working, but it appears to have wiped out all of the history in the review tracker. However, we still have a lot of ongoing reviews that are saying "Could not get new comments. One or more files are missing on the server" when we check for new comments and it tries to get us to work offline.

beckcd Dec 2, 2009 7:24 AM (in response to bob.treitman)Thanks Bob. I did that as well since I have not been able to figure out how to go about getting the fastest and best help with this critical issue. Other companies we work with have provided me with a single contact on their end that I work with on issues like this. Since I am the person in our company that administers our usage of adobe for shared reviews, let me know if there is such a person within Adobe that I should contact moving forward. I have since been in touch with Tobias Hoellrich with Adobe to work on these continuing issues. He said that there a number of items that were not translated successfully in the data migration and that he needs to speak with others on your end to find the problem. I have not heard back from him yet, and we are still having problems. Needless to say, our users are screaming and after all of the hard work to sell our consultants that this was the way to go, many are now jumping ship and will likely force us to start using their vendor's systems. We are in salvage mode right now as we never thought we would have a problem on this order of magnitude with Adobe.
Sorry for replying directly back to the forum post, but I don’t know how to contact you directly...

bob.treitman May 7, 2012 2:31 PM (in response to bob.treitman)The Windows Fixit executable should work on both 32- and 64-bit systems. If you find this not to be the case, please let us know.

kathleenlucier Dec 3, 2009 12:17 PM (in response to bob.treitman)I too have tried the patch, and my forms still all say "network resource not found" I have been having problems since 11/24, and have called several 800 numbers looking for assistance. In my numberous phone conversations with numerous people, not one of them mentioned this fix. in the past 3 days, i have experienced the worst customer service of my life. I was hung up on 7 times, and on hold for hours! Still, my situation is not fixed. This is causing serious problems, and if i cannot get it fixed by today, i will have to find another program.

6. Re: Resolving errors connecting to Acrobat.com for Review or Forms workflows
Rabbitsoft Dec 5, 2009 12:31 PM (in response to bob.treitman)I have a slightly different problem. As a new user, I created a few files that I used for testing. I subsequently deleted them. Now I have two problems.
1) Attached is a screen image (Tracker) showing an error message from Tracker indicating that "Network resource not found." How do I delete the item from Tracker?
2) When I attempt to distribute a new file, I am now presented with error messages after the "Finalizing Form Preperation" message appears. These can be seen in attachments Tracker 2 and Tracker 3.

dlh604 Dec 5, 2009 8:01 PM (in response to Rabbitsoft)This may be a problem that one of my users is having, but I don't see how this type of solution might be of help. Here's her comment so far:
Oh Dave,
This is getting exhausting.
I go to acrobat...it tells me I need adobe...I down load adobe.... I try to "sign in" ....it tells me I need adobe. etc. etc.
I cannot get to the form.
I am done. This more than anything will make me resign as race director.
I don't mind the rest of it, but this stuff, I hate.
I have just spent more time trying to figure this out than I have.
I will send the changes to you and Brian.
Who ever can make the changes should do so and call me with questions.
Sorry I can't make headway out of what seems to be an easy way to change documents.
Augghhh!!!

While I like the idea of adding Tables and Presentations, the whole move from Buzzword to Acrobat has been a trial.

What is the problem?

11. Re: Resolving errors connecting to Acrobat.com for Review or Forms workflows
galeen52 Sep 10, 2014 11:41 PM (in response to bob.treitman)I was trying to download a manual for my husband on a tractor and it come up and said that I had to buy that Adobe to down load it and it still didn't let me, so I wasted money I didn't really have to waste. So as fire as I am it is a piece of junk and they ott to be ashamed of there selves for doing that to people, because they are just taking there money and running with it and getting nothing in return. Most people don't have money to just hand out for nothing, things are hard to come by and you are just taking it and laughing about it and saying that's ok we need it worst ten they do so we will just still there money. But that is a bush of bull because you are stilling from people, the law should put you in jail for that and throw the key away and leave you in there for the rest of your life and maybe you would lean something while you are in there for the rest of your life and say boy I wish I hadn't done that to people. So if you need my money that bad I hope you eat it and get very sick from it, because I am very mad and I am trying to keep from saying things I shouldn't. So if you want it that bad take it and stick it where the sun don't sun.

bob.treitman Sep 11, 2014 7:47 AM (in response to galeen52)I'm not sure where you were instructed that you had to purchase anything from Adobe in order to download a tractor manual. If it was in PDF format, all you would need from Adobe is the free Adobe Reader.
If you purchased something from Adobe that you don't need, please contact our customer service at 1 (800) 833-6687 and explain what happened.
