Robohelp 6 and above does not seem to let me convert a file done in Robohelp 4 (winhelp). I need to enhance thiis old help file but I don't want to start from scratch. What to do?!

Have you thought of what you are trying to upgrade to? WinHelp is very old and not widely used these days. It would be best to upgrade it to either a CHM or an online format (e.g. WebHelp or Flashhelp). All of these are best produced using the RoboHelp HTML application as opposed to the RoboHelp for Word application used to create WinHelp. RoboHelp 6 contains both these applications and you can import a .HLP file into a RoboHelp HTML project easily.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, the process in Robohelp to convert seems easy, but once I start to do it, a box appears that asks me to select the source documents. The problem is there are no source document to select and I can't get pass this dialog box. How can I get the source document(s) to appear?

Are you saying that you only have the winhelp file and not the source project?
Both RH HTML and RH for Word allow you to create a new project based on a .HLP file. Not sure how clean the process is as it is years since I have touched winhelp. Better to find the original source files if you can.
