    Question concerning the PDF Reference

    joeln3 Community Member

      Hello,

I don't know if it's the correct place to discuss about the PDF Reference but I didn't find another one.

Actually I'm wondering if the Text-positioning operators (p.406 5.3.1 Text-positioning operators) is correctly described in the PDF Reference. Indeed for the operator tx ty TD it is described that it has the same effect than : -ty TL tx ty Td. But after some tests it seems that it has the same effect than : +ty TL tx ty Td.

      Could someone agree with this?

      Thanks in advance,

      Joe

There is a separate forum to discuss the PDF Language, which would include its documentation.

The PDF Reference is the name of the documentation for the PDF Language as published by Adobe.  It was published in versions for 1.0 through 1.7.  It has been SUPERSEEDED by the ISO 32000-1, the ISO standard for PDF 1.7.  So you should consult that document for all future PDF language needs.

          And yes, TD is +ty.
