Default to TOC pages open??

Is there a way to default the TOC to display open pages as opposed to closed books when first opened?

There is a way, but you probably won't like the results. When you generate WebHelp and work your way through the assorted dialogs, enable the "Pure HTML" option for your navigation. I believe this option will create a TOC that is fully expanded. But I suppose I might be confusing this with the Section 508 option.
