I have the Adobe Technical Communication Suite, running RoboHelp 8. All of sudden when trying to compile the chm file, RoboHelp crashes. I installed all the updates, restarted and tried all the basic obvious steps, but the crash still occurs. I can compile in Webhelp no problem.
During compilation, I watch the output view. Every starts running ok, I get a warning about the stop file size exceeding 512bytes, then it carries on compiling, then another warning appears HHC3004 warning, it goes to the next topic, another warning about an invalid HTML tag, then it compiles about 4 more topics and crashes again.
I have searched the net high and low and not sure if its a Vista issue or RoboHelp. Does anyone have some info on this?
This is the detail of the error which means nothing to me:
