dec9 Jan 20, 2010 8:45 PM (in response to Hatteras Photo)Try turning off UAC then I think there is a check box of don't remind me again? Then hit cancle. Turn UAC back on.
If not there is a way to do it manually.

ssprengel Jan 20, 2010 9:27 PM (in response to Hatteras Photo)You can register new products in the Store / My Account area of the www.adobe.com
I tried registering my CS4 E several times and it failed to show up on Adobe's site as a registered product for me until I did it online.

Hatteras Photo Jan 20, 2010 9:52 PM (in response to ssprengel)Thanks for the idea to go check my account. It shows it registered fine......just very odd that the form is still there and it said nothing about being activated. Very different then CS3.....I might check with customer service tomorrow. Thanks again......Peter

5. Re: CS4 registration problem
ssprengel Jan 20, 2010 10:01 PM (in response to Hatteras Photo)Registration is different than Activation.
You can register your serial number once as you being the owner whenever you want or not even do it. I always do it just to keep track of my serial numbers.
Activation happens silently after the install has been completed on each computer and is the way Adobe enforce the two-computer limit per serial number.
I have installed CS4E twice and not registered it via the registration form and choose Register Later if it pops up.

6. Re: CS4 registration problem
dec9 Jan 21, 2010 7:45 AM (in response to Hatteras Photo)Ok, here is the manual way to do it if you have already registered and it keeps popping up.
Ensure folders is set up to see hidden file folders.
Go to C drive, Users, your name, Appdata, Roaming, Adobe.
In that folder you will see something like co.adobe.330.en_US.Registration
Open that folder in notepad
At the top you will see the word later or the word later may not be there
What you want to do is delete the word later and type in never. Now the word never will be at the top
Choose file then click save then close out.
Badda bing badda boom.
