LiveCycle doesn't load document after tracking permission

After permitting LiveCycle to track my use of the software, I have not been able to load my document since.  I've been trying now for about 5 hours and the software just doesn't load.

Did you find any errors in the server log file?

This is the error message I'm getting today:

xml parsing error:  no element found (error code 3) line1, column1, of {C:\document}.  Don't know how to access server file log.  I was almost finished with this document.  Is there a way to edit outside of LiveCycle Design?

What exactly is this document and where are you trying to load it from?

It is a medical assessment form that I created in Adobe Pro 9 trial version.  When I go to the forms tab then edit in design in LiveCycle it will no get me back to edit mode.  I get the above mentioned error message.
